You Can Be Too…

In my own words

With the Hungarian National Ballet Institute we looked at what it actually costs to become someone. The discipline, the falls, the blisters, the getting up again at six in the morning while other children sleep.

These are kids with iron will, and photographing them moved me more than I expected. There is a moment when a twelve-year-old understands that talent is only the entry ticket — everything after that is work. I tried to catch that exact moment. It's on some of their faces.
